Solar Screens

Solar Screens are custom made for your windows. The specially designed material absorbs and dissipates 80%-90% of the sun’s heat and glare before it reaches your window or door glass. This results in a more comfortable indoor temperature, more efficient air conditioning and ultimately energy conservation. SunTex is a unique woven mesh that can block up to 90% of the sun’s hottest rays. The exterior shading fabric is made of strong vinyl-coated polyester and is pet resistant. All SunTex fabrics include Microban® antimicrobial product protection. Microban is the leading technology in antibacterial/antifungal protection.

Our showroom display features four color choices of aluminum frames and fabrics that can be configured to match your window style. Specialty shapes and mullions are available.

Insect screens are available in fiber glass and aluminum. The fiberglass screen material offers the ultimate in insect protection while at the same time stopping up to 65% of the sun’s glare. This 20×30 vinyl-coated fiberglass fabric is an ideal choice where visibility is of utmost importance but where sun and insect protection is also a priority.
